Are more Americans murdered each year by illegal aliens
than have died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined?

Apparently so. According to Rep. Steve King of Iowa:
12 Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens.
Add it up. That's 4,380 per year! That's more than 21,900 murders by
illegal aliens since September 11, 2001.
And that's not all. According to the same report, 13 people per day are
killed by illegal alien drunk drivers.
That's an additional 4,745 premature deaths per year.
In addition, although unreported, there has been an alarming up tick in the number of hit and runs which have been unofficially attributed to unlicensed illegal aliens who flee the scene of the hit and run for fear of being deported.
And liberals try to tell you that Iraq is a "quagmire."
If that still isn't enough to sicken you, King also reports that eight
American children are molested by illegal aliens every day.
That's 2,920 innocent children annually whose lives are ruined each year
-- by known child molesters who who would have been screened out if the federal
government enforced our immigration laws.
Yet, according to a recent front page story in the Washington Times,
"Congress will approve an immigration bill that will grant citizenship
rights to 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after Democrats take control
next month."

Media Flooded With Stories About Shortages of Workers Caused by I.C.E. Raids

Pity the poor businessman. We are supposed to feel sorry for him. The mean Immigration people are taking away his workers. This is unbelievable. Those businesses that have been hiring illegal aliens are responsible for all of America's immigation problems, for without jobs, there would not be tens of millions of illegal aliens living here.

Amazingly, these criminal employers who have knowingly hired illegal aliens and, in many cases, collected and pocketed their FICA and Social Security payments, seem to feel no shame and, certainly, no fear of prosecution.

Why aren't state's attorneys general arresting these employers and charging them with the crimes they have obviously committed? Are things so far gone in this country that the laws of the land only apply to some and not all of the people?

Call your AG's office today and ask what they are doing about these criminal employers who are hiring hundreds of illegal aliens instead of Americans.
U.S. privacy laws protect illegals who steal identities

Illegal immigrants in the United States often work for years using someone else’s Social Security and yet are not detected. How? Because privacy laws protect them.

The Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration does notice clues that suggest illegal workers, such as multiple people using the same Social Security number. Privacy laws, however, prevent them from passing along that information to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or other law enforcement agencies.

Some in government are calling for these agencies to share tax information to help enforce the nation’s immigration laws.

After the Dec. 12 raids at Swift meatpacking plants in Iowa and five other states by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff said Congress should grant immigration officials greater access to Social Security Administration employment records so they could be searched for identity theft and fraud.

Consumer advocates and immigrant rights advocates oppose such data sharing - particularly about people who apply to the IRS for an individual tax numbers (ITN)s. That’s a nine-digit number that the IRS issues without questioning legal status. With an individual tax identification number, undocumented workers can get tax refunds, open bank accounts and build a credit history. Some lenders even offer home loans to people with ITNs.

Bush Pardons Crooks and Drug Pushers at Year's End

I was just reading where Bush just granted clemency to a bunch felons convicted of drug pushing, mail fraud and other assorted low life crimes, but not a word yet for the pardons of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, two outstanding Border patrol agents who have become victims of the political maneuvering between the U.S. & Mexico. (They were convicted for doing their jobs. Really! (Go to the Ramos-Compean Blog for more information on this outrageous case)

Apparently, there is an Office of Pardons in this huge bloated bureaucracy of ours that forgot years ago it was established to serve the people

What does it take to break into the heart of our so-called "compassionate conservative" President? Maybe a candlelight vigil in front of the White House on Christmas eve?

Or maybe flooding the telephone and fax lines of the "Office of Pardons" demanding a pardon for Ramos & Compean.

Continue to send email letters to President Bush and, maybe a call or fax to the Office of Pardon listed below:

Pardon Attorney Roger C. Adams
Office of the Pardon Attorney
1425 New York Avenue, N.W.
Suite 11000
Washington, D.C. 20530
tel.: (202) 616-6070
fax: (202) 616-6069

The Office of the Pardon Attorney, in consultation with the Attorney General or his designee, assists the President in the exercise of executive clemency as authorized under Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution. Under the Constitution, the President's clemency power extends only to federal criminal offenses. All requests for executive clemency for federal offenses are directed to the Pardon Attorney for investigation and review. The Pardon Attorney prepares the Department's recommendation to the President for final disposition of each application. Executive clemency may take several forms, including pardon, commutation of sentence, remission of fine or restitution, and reprieve.

Former workers sue Swift & Co. for hiring illegal immigrants

Former employees are suing Swift & Co. for $23 million, alleging the meatpacking company conspired to keep wages down by hiring illegal immigrants.

The 18 former employees are legal residents who worked at a plant in Cactus, Texas, north of Amarillo. The plant was one of six facilities raided in a multistate federal sweep that led to the arrests of nearly 1,300 employees and temporarily halted Swift's operations.

"These plaintiffs are ... victims in a long-standing scheme by Swift to depress and artificially lower the wages of its workers by knowingly hiring illegal workers," said their attorney, Angel Reyes. "By lessening its labor costs and increasing its profits, Swift has severely damaged the potential earnings and livelihood of these hardworking men and women."

Swift, which is based in Greeley, Colo., and the Dallas firm that owns it didn't immediately return calls Monday.

The lawsuit was filed late Friday against Swift and investment firm HM Capital Partners LLC, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. They contend Swift and HM Capital Partners engaged in racketeering to manipulate commerce.

"When the Swift plant opened in Cactus, wages were approximately $20 an hour," said another plaintiffs attorney, Michael Haygood. "Now, the average wage is approximately $12 to $13 an hour. Illegal immigration has fueled this depression in wages."

Editor's note: This is big news. The Bush Administration, while it deserves some credit for finally cracking down on big companies, failed to prosecute the executives who clearly are guilty of hiring illegals with intent to displace American workers; lower wages at their plants; and stuff more money into their pockets.

But this lawsuit is BIG because those suing have a real case and, hopefully, it will set a precedent that will cause some companies to reconsider their hiring practices.

Bush sees chance to pursue amnesty with Democratic majority as ‘a wonderful opportunity'

President Bush told the press that he intends to work with the new Democratic majority in Congress on a number of domestic issues, but he sees the chance to resolve issues such as immigration "as wonderful opportunities.

“It turns out that what I think is important, the Democratic leadership thinks is important, as well,” Bush said.

Democrats have complained that the Bush administration has ignored their views for the past four years. Bush says that voters are now "sick and tired of the needless partisanship in Washington."

Bush especially sees real possibilities for overhauling immigration law and policies. The most recent Congress, with Republican majorities, found Bush’s amnesty proposal failing to gain the votes of a majority of Republicans in either the House or the Senate.

Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has already told Bush that she looks forward to seeing Democrats work in cooperation with the White House on a guest-worker program for low-skilled immigrants.

Bush is still pursuing a proposal he introduced a year ago, that would establish a guest-worker program for low-skilled workers as well as amnesty for the more than 12 million illegal immigrants now in the country.

Labor Unions Abandon American Workers to Pander After Illegal Alien Workers

With the exception of the Teamsters, most of the big American labor unions are betraying the interests of their dues paying American workers by supporting open borders, mass immigration and amnesty for illegal aliens. Why? Because they see the flood of illegal aliens as millions of new union members. And bigger salaries for the union bosses.

Anybody with a brain can recognize that allowing millions of low-wage illegal aliens into the country is very harmful for American workers as it depresses wages. But union bosses like AFL-CIO President John J. Sweeney don't seem to see any conflict.

Sweeney issued a press release on December 18, 2006, "International Migrants Day," one of these concepts that only the United Nations celebrate. Sweeney said that he
"stand[s] together with migrant workers and immigrant communities worldwide to call on the U.S. government to uphold the human and civil rights of all migrant workers and their families."

Sweeney went on to suggest that the United States "...accept the standards of rights laid out by the UN Convention on migrants and demand immigration reform that will guarantee that all workers who labor in our nation enjoy full protections of the laws."

I cannot imagine America workers in the AFL-CIO going along with either his support for illegal aliens or his belief that the United States should bow before the United Nations.

HEY!!! American workers. isn't it time you threw Sweeney out of there and hired somebody who cares about American workers and believes that the United States needs no advice from the United Nations!

School District Adopts DHS program to screen employees for illegal immigrants.

The West Covina (California) Unified School District has decided to use the federal government's Basic Pilot Program to screen employees for their eligibility to work in the United States.

It appears that this is the first government body in the country that has reported using the Basic Pilot Program."

The School Board voted unanimously in favor of implementing the service that was originally designed for businesses interested in determining whether their applicants for employment were legal residents.

Operated by the Department of Homeland Security, the Basic Pilot program is a free online system available to all employers to verify the eligibility of employees to work in the United States. It is run in coordination with the Social Security Administration. Its website is https//:www.vis-dhs.com/EmployerRegistration.

Thousands of private employers already use it, such as Dunkin' Brands with its
Dunkin' Donuts stores, Baskin-Robbins ice cream parlors, and Togo restaurants.

Government agencies are not immune from employing illegal aliens with fraudulent
documents. The City of Los Angeles found five illegal aliens working for over
three years in jobs ranging from management analyst to water sampling technician.
And a growing number of military bases have discovered that they have been employing illegal aliens in custodial positions.

Editor's note: The Basic Pilot program has proven its effectiveness for several years. As one of the few programs that the DHS has iin its arsenal for preventing illegal aliens from taking American jobs, it should be a mandatory program, not a pilot program. What is the government waiting for?

Hey!!! Environmentalists!!!

What does it take to get you off your high horses and join in the battle to stop illegal migration, arguably, the worst environmental disaster since the Exxon Valdez?

It's not just the millions of tons of garbage they discard in our pristine wilderness and national forests. It's the massive increases in our population - at least 3 million per year -- caused by illegal aliens that will ultimately ruin our environment.

Please go to U.S. Border Control to find out how you can help stop this nightmare. You can really make a difference.

Thank you.

VISA Exit Tracking Years Away!!!!

Five years after 9/11 and after billions of dollars were squandered on pork and "earmarks", the Department of homeland Security has given up on plans to develop a facial or fingerprint recognition system to determine whether foreign visitors leave the country, officials say.

On the US-VISIT website, the DHS claims the program is a top priority because it:

* Enhances the security of our citizens and visitors
* Facilitates legitimate travel and trade
* Ensures the integrity of our immigration system
* Protects the privacy of our visitors

They go on to state that "US-VISIT is part of a continuum of security measures that begins overseas and continues through a visitor’s arrival in and departure from the United States. It incorporates eligibility determinations made by both the Departments of Homeland Security and State.

"US-VISIT is helping us demonstrate that we remain a welcoming nation and that we can keep America’s doors open and our nation secure."

Right now, nearly 30 percent of U.S. visitors are "believed" to have overstayed their visas, a congressional report says. ("believed" means they have no idea!)

Tracking visitors took on particular urgency after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States, when it became clear that some of the terrorist hijackers had remained in the country after their visas had expired.

But, today, five long years later, officials at the Homeland Security Department have conceded they lack the financing and technology to meet their deadline to have exit-monitoring systems at the 50 busiest land border crossings by next December. A vast majority of foreign visitors enter and exit by land from Mexico and Canada.

A report released on Thursday by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the nonpartisan investigative arm of Congress, reiterated those findings, reporting that the administration believes that it will take 5 to 10 years to develop technology that might allow for a cost-effective departure system.

English First campaigns against Bush choice for GOP chairman

English First, an organization that wants to establish English as the official language of the United States, is busy urging members of the Republican National Committee to reject U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida as chairman. Martinez was born in Cuba, and was nominated by President Bush in November to replace Ken Mehlman as the leader of the GOP.

The appointment must be confirmed by the RNC at its meeting in January. English First has established a website -- wwww.stopmartinez.com -- to register a litany of complaints about his selection. ''Sen. Martinez is wrong on official English and wrong on amnesty for illegal aliens,'' says Jim Boulet Jr., executive director of English First. ``Asking Sen. Martinez to run the Republican Party is like asking Phyllis Schlafly to run Planned Parenthood.

Boulet predicted, ''Should Martinez win the RNC post, reporters will encourage him to do nothing but argue with his fellow Republicans about immigration and language issues''.

Martinez agrees with Bush on a guest-worker program, and championed a Senate bill that would have extended citizenship to millions of undocumented immigrants after they learned English and paid fines and back taxes.

What's up with I.C.E.?

They gave themselves a nice, new name. I.C.E. (Immigration & Customs Enforcement).
Sounds cool. Sounds tough. But it's the same old song and dance, my friends. They have a new website, too. But it still says all the wrong things. Click on their Worksite enforcement page and you will see what I mean.

Their focus is limited to two areas. The first, Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Investigations, is their effort to prevent terrorists from infiltrating into our country and getting jobs in, for instance, nuclear plants. Makes sense. And they are making progress. Just a couple of weeks ago, we learned that there are not as many illegal aliens being employed in military bases!!

Their second focus is going after employers who are violating the civil rights of the illegal aliens they hire. Somebody ought to be going after employers who abuse their employees, but maybe it should be the Labor Department or the Office of Civil Rights. Because ICE is supposed to be about enforcement of immigration laws ... and nothing else.

But it seems that enforcement is the last thing they pay any attention to. Where, on their webste, is the Hotline number where citizens call to report ordinary businesses that fired their American workers and hired illegal aliens? There isn't one. And that says it all.

Washington still doesn't get it. Senators like Ted Kennedy, Arlen Spector and John McCain can't wait to re-introduce their amnesty bill. And President Bush can't wait to create a North American Union and get rid of our borders (and our sovereignty) altogether.

Stand and fight. We stopped them before and we an do it again. Go to www.usbc.org and join the battle to save our language, culture and American way of life for future generations. Thank you.

Eva Albavera Viveros is a Mexican woman who, like many of her neighbors, lost her husband when he went to America looking for work. Eva and her friends in Tecalpulco established a cooperative and are working very hard to provide for themselves.

They produce fine jewelry and try to market it through the internet. Click here to learn more or to buy their jewelry.

Even more amazing than their jewelry, which looks quite good, is their attitude. One of the pages on their website is called "Wetback Wives" and it carries a message to the United States Border Patrol, urging them to send their husbands home -- even if it means rounding them up and deporting them!

The reality is that our immigration policies are really destroying two countries, not just ours. Although it feels like all of the Mexicans have moved here, Mexico is being drained of its manpower, the people who should be helping to build and shape their own country.

Editor's note: Eva's closing words to me in her email were "Please CLOSE THE BORDER to Illegal Migration and send our men back to Mexico where we need them to help us with our jewelry production. We did not want them to go to the United States. They said they wouldn’t be gone so long, that they were going to get money and come right back, but they have been gone for a long time and we want to ask for your help in sending them back to their homes and families."

Five million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan----- they are old, tired and confused ... and the Medicare program is very difficult to understand.

But will our government grant the elderly an extension? No way Jose!

But the same damned government grants extensions for illegal aliens to sign up for amnesty, for welfare, for in-state tuitions, family reunification, etc...

THEY MUST EITHER REALLY DISLIKE OLD PEOPLE...OR REALLY LOVE TACOS!!!

New Tactic to Crack Down on Employers Hiring Illegals

The war employers hiring illegals, at least in one local county, just adopted a new tactic should give employers some second thoughts. Over in Butler County, Sheriff Richard Jones has taken an interesting step in his effort to get control over what he believes to be a significant issue in his community.

His new "secret weapon" is someone we will call "Jose". A few weeks ago, retiring after nearly thirty years with border patrol and immigration, "Jose" began a new job with the Butler County Sheriff's Department -- as an undercover agent tasked with infiltrating businesses that hire illegal immigrants.

"Jose": "I'm finding out that a lot of the larger businesses in Butler County are utilizing staffing agencies, that way they kind of insulate themselves as far
as liability is concerned, they don't have to worry about any paperwork..."

Having worked in counter-terrorism and spent many years undercover, Jose's special skills will help the sheriff's investigations go places they've never gone before, into the very fabric of the Hispanic population.

Hispanic himself, he understands the issues: "As far as sympathizing with these people, obviously I do, and I run into situations where you've got 14 year olds working in factories and the employer is basically turning his head, and it boils down to that profit margin."

Richard Jones, Butler County Sheriff: "Our goal is to tell the illegals, "Don't come here; you're not welcome. If you come here illegally, this is one law enforcement official that doesn't want you here."

Sheriff Jones also has some words for the employers: "... you're breaking down our economy, our nation of laws ... I would be very satisfied if you went to prison for the first time you hire illegals."

'Jose' tells us he's already been inside about 20 different Butler County businesses. Besides working undercover, he'll be helping debrief Hispanic suspects taken into custody, and especially concentrate on Hispanics who are already convicted felons.

Editor's note: Please use the email button [->] below to send this blog to your community's Mayor, Police Chief, or City Council. It is time these employers paid for their greed in hiring illegals over American citizens.
One in seven Mexican workers have left their country a recent study reported.

There were more than 7 million workers from Mexico in the U.S. labor force this year, 2 million more than six years ago, said the report's author, Jeanne Batalova of the Migration Policy Institute, a Washington think tank.

Up to 9.4 percent of the all persons born in Mexico were living in the United States in 2005, according to the report. In the same year, 14 percent of Mexican workers had jobs on U.S. soil, compared to 2.5 percent of Canadians.”

What does this mean? It means our country is being taken over -- a silent invasion has been taking place since 1986. And, before too long, without a gun being fired, our country will be lost.

To stay current on the status of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, the two Border patrol agents who were tried and convicted for doing their jobs, pleas visit our other blog,
http://ramos-compean.blogspot.com

Who SAYS it can't be done?

PRESIDENTS HOOVER & EISENHOWER DEPORTED MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS SO AMERICANS COULD FIND WORK!

I did not know of this until it was pointed out to me.

Back during the great depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make the jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 1.3 million Mexican nationals (it was called "Operation Wetback") in order that returning American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs.

It took 2 years, but they rounded them up and deported them.

If they could deport the illegals back then, they can sure do it today!!

If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, just type Operation Wetback into your
favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.

Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes..... 1.2 million illegal aliens are depending on you!

Unending supply of illegal workers undermines labor laws, unemployment, Social Security systems

Low-skilled, young, U.S.-born workers are the economic victims of unlimited illegal immigration, said a recent study by Northeastern University. The segment of the U.S. labor force that has been most affected by the massive influx of illegal immigrants into the United States over the past five years are low-skilled, young native-born workers, according to a recent study issued by the University's Center for Labor Market Studies. ”It appears that employers are substituting new immigrant workers for young native-born workers.” said the two economists who authored the study.

The uncontrolled rise in employment by illegal workers over the past decade has also contributed to a breakdown in the U.S.’s labor laws and labor standards, and has undermined the unemployment insurance program and Social Security systems that had evolved over the past century, the authors said.

The federal government’s Current Population and Current Employment surveys over the past few years also bear out this trend. The number of people reporting themselves as employed has been growing much faster than the number companies are reporting. Illegal immigration, the authors said, is creating a growing dark side of the labor market where employers operate outside the market’s legal framework.

Real wages for the lowest-paid American workers, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, have been stagnant or declining for years.

Judge Rules Cities Cannot Bar Illegals from Seeking Work

A federal judge ruled that the Village of Mamaroneck, New York discriminated against illegal immigrants when it closed a day labor hiring site and stepped up police patrols on the streets.

Six undocumented immigrant workers sought an injunction against what they called harassment and ethnic discrimination. They said the village violated their right to equal protection. The defendants have engaged in a campaign against undocumented immigrants who gather on the streets of Mamaroneck to seek work, Judge Colleen McMahon wrote in her ruling.

Immigration is a federal responsibility. Cities may not interfere with it even if the federal government is not fulfilling that responsibility. This may seem like a loophole in the law, but it is a protected loophole.

The ruling comes as a handful of small cities in the United States have instituted tougher laws, some naming English their official language and threatening fines to landlords who knowingly rent to undocumented immigrants. They say they are stepping in where the federal government has failed to regulate immigration.

Testifying in Spanish, each of the six laborers -- some in the country illegally -- asserted that the city was denying them their human right to work. A man from Guatemala told the judge "They are treating us like second class citizens just because we come from another country. They act like they own the place."

The victory is the second this year for undocumented immigrants in federal court. In May, a federal judge prohibited the city of Redondo Beach, California, from arresting undocumented immigrants for violating a local ordinance against soliciting work on public streets.

Editor's note: This is the kind of judicial activism that has destroyed our country. care to give the Hon.Judge Colleen McMahon a piece of your mind? Call her at (914) 390-4146 or write her at Hon. Colleen McMahon, United States District Judge, United States Courthouse, 300 Quarropas Street, Room 533, White Plains, New York 10601-4150

Reyes to Head House Intelligence Panel
Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi today chose Rep. Silvestre Reyes to head the House intelligence committee.

Reyes, D-Texas, a Vietnam veteran and former Border Patrol agent, is seen as a compromise choice after it became clear Pelosi would replace Rep. Jane Harman of California, the committee’s current ranking Democrat, who has clashed with her personally and politically.

Reyes is viewed by most as a moderate in his party. (this "moderate" earned a ZERO rating on U.S. Border Control's Congressional Scorecard)

Reyes has focused his committee work on border security. He talks about the need for diversity in the intelligence community and information sharing between the agencies. He also counts among his priorities the development of more intelligence gathering by human spies as well as the purchase of sophisticated spy technology.

Reyes pledged to work in a bipartisan fashion on the committee, which has frequently been torn by strife between Republicans and Democrats. The panel was structured around the notion that intelligence oversight should be free of politics.

Editor's note: Just when I was starting to believe that Nancy Pelosi would honor her pledge to clean up the Congress, she lets Reyes, the same Reyes whose daughter got a sweetheart no-bid contract for her company to build a $200 million dollar surveillance system for the Canadian-US border -- a system that never worked?

Earth to Jeb ... Earth to Jeb !!

Regarding the spat going on between Congressman Tom Tancredo and Governor Jeb Bush because Tom said “You would never know you’re in the United States of America,” referring to Miami. He also called it a Third World Country.

Jeb retorted that "Miami is as American as a Denver suburb." Hello? I was in Miami not too long ago and if Miami bears any resemblance to Denver this country is in bigger trouble than even I thought it was.

Then Jeb called Tancredo a Nut. No, Jeb, you are the nut if you cannot recognize the fact that almost nobody in Miami speaks English; half of its population is Cuban; and, if you stray out of the tourist areas, you will not only be putting your life at risk, you will feel a stranger in your own country.

What is with this family? The father wandered into a supermarket and was astounded by the scanning machine that read the labels on soup cans? Dubya can't pronounce NU-CLE-AR. And Jeb thinks Miami is a little slice of Americana? Beam me up!

A RECENT STUDY BY THE PEW HISPANIC CENTER REVEALS THE
FOLLOWING:
o Hispanics are four times more likely than non-Hispanics to receive welfare
o Hispanics account for three-quarters of the increase in poverty in the USA
o 45 percent of Hispanic children are born out of wedlock
o Hispanic women are 2.54 times more likely than white women to have abortions
o Hispanic men are nine times more likely than white men to beat their partners
o Hispanics are three times more likely than whites to die of AIDS
o They are four times more likely to die of tuberculosis than whites
o Hispanics are twice as likely to be incarcerated as non-Hispanics
o They are 3.8 times more likely to be in prison for murder than non-Hispanics
o Hispanic youth are 19 times more likely to be in gangs than whites
o Hispanics are three times more likely than non-Hispanics to drop out of high school
o 55 percent of Mexican-Americans consider themselves to be Mexican first
Why would Americans want more of THAT?

Editor's comment: These statistics reflect what is happening to America's Latino community due to massive illegal immigration. They do not reflect the legal Hispanic community which is hard-working, healthy, monogamous, law-abiding and patriotic.
